Small Business and Not-for-Profit Bookkeeping

Welcome! I’m here to solve your financial management and bookkeeping needs!

I have over 20 years of experience, and specialize in working with arts not-for-profit organizations and small, one-person businesses who want their finances handled correctly without the stress.

I’m a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Level 2 and one-person consulting practice, so you always work directly with me.

Services

I offer bookkeeping support tailored to nonprofits and small businesses, including:

  • Monthly bookkeeping & bank reconciliations

  • QuickBooks setup, cleanup, and ongoing support

  • Fund, grant, and program tracking

  • Accounts payable & receivable

  • Easy-to-understand financial reports

  • Year-end audit and 1099 prep for your CPA or tax preparer

Whether you’re managing a nonprofit arts organization or running a one-person business, I meet you where you are.

Delivering a clear, balanced P&L and balance sheet brings me to my “happy place.” I look forward to sharing how clear and simple bookkeeping can be.

I have kept the books for my own companies and for others, learning on-the job what works and what doesn’t. I’ve delivered:

  • Monthly reports to senior management

  • Quarterly reports to the board

  • Annual documentation to external auditors

I have decades of experience preparing proposal budgets for grants, and actuals for final reporting.

I hold a BA (Magna Cum Laude) from Barnard College and am a proud graduate of Brooklyn College’s MFA in Performing Arts Management where I took two semesters of graduate level accounting with Brooklyn’s legendary Professor Robert Widman.
